I'm French.
I'm 17.
I used to use phpBB as the board software for my websites. One year I released my own board soft but it wasn't very securised and elaborated.
I discover NextBBS on Wikipedia: NextBBS seems to be a serious alternative to IPB or vBulletin I think.
I'm sad to see that there is no French Community about NextBSS and i realised an alpha version of French Translation of the board. (You can get it in the 'I want to help!' Forum).

I hope this board will be more and more developped and will become a very very serious open source alterntive of IPB & vBulletin.

J'utilisais phpBB comme logiciel de forum pour mes sites Web avant. Une année j'ai programmé mon propre forum en PHP/MySQL mais il n'était pas assez sécurisé et assez flexible pour remplacer phpBB.
J'ai découvert NextBBS sur wikipedia: NextBBS me semble être une sérieuse alternative à IPB ou vBulletin.
Je suis triste de voir qu'il n'y a pas de communauté francophone sur NextBBS et du coup j'ai sorti une version alpha (voire pre-alpha) d'une traduction française du forum. (vous pouvez la télécharger dans la section 'I Want to Help!' du forum).

J'espère que ce logiciel sera de plus en plus développé et qu'il deviendra une alternative Open Source plus que sérieuse à IPB et vBulletin qui remplissent les mêmes capacités mais sont très chers.
