Take a page from punbb
When it comes to making a skin in forum software most of the time it's a heart-ache. Sometimes they use CSS, sometimes they use a-lot of HTML other times its just plan hard to under stand.

punBB has a simple answer to this you can create your own skin really easy by just editing main.tpl page and putting in php calls where you want the things.

So easy it is my design;
anothercodelabs.co.uk
was easly incoperated into;
anothercodelabs.co.uk/forums

nextbbs needs this feature, when it does ad a punBB to nextbbs converter and I will change

PunBB runs with having a template folder in it has .tpl files which can be easily edited to suit a theme. There are another lot of files which has a CSS (colours of the links etc.)

Heres the html code which can be easily edited because of Php strings etc to the forum parts to suit a theme or design you have already made in html rather than coding a new design in css or xtml.

I see.
Is this particular code from index.html?
Is there a way to alter the presentation of what punbb will use to replace pun_announcement for instance?
