How to move new registrated users from Purgatory

I must be missing something simple. In the Admin CP I require new users to be approved for reading and posting, but I can't find the place in the Admin CP where this is actually done.  Can some one please point this out?

Donald,

Since moderators can validate new users, the feature is actually available outside the ACP: just go to the member list and filter on '[MOD] Purgatory'

-C.

and then...?

Thanks for the reply, Chris. I did already notice that I could filter the user list by "[MOD] Pugatory", but I haven't been able to figure out how to change that setting for a user except by going into the database.  Like I said, I expect I am missing something really simple.  Can you give me another hint, please?

OK. I think I figured it out. I was assuming that Admins had Moderator rights. Apparently they don't. I asdded myself to the Moderators Group. Hopefully that will do it.

Er...actually this is a mistake if you needed to do this. Yes, admin should be identified as moderators. Interesting...
