Here are my seggestions for the next update:

1. Where the new topic and the new poll is on the forum view there is this huge area there, I rekon it should show the mods for that topic, or A discription for the forum, or both.

2. I think the blue grundge should be changed, maybe a diffrent design of thing (I'm talking about the header where stuff like $data aperas) It would be nice if it was all blue not going litter, or a diffrent shape or something...

3. The normal topic, ect. above the users on the main page should be replaced with Just New Topic (Yellow Icon), No New Posts (Blue Icon), Locked Forum, Forum goes to other page, and forum privite.

4. Page generated ect. in a nice little table like the forum topics down the bottom with the support links in the same table.

5. - and + Icon should be bigger and a circle not a square

6. RSS button should be blue to match with the skin.

7. Post count dosnt rise (I dont know if this got implanted)

8. An X button on the quick search serosly it is diffrently needed, as it pisses me of when I hover over it it dosnt dissaper

9. Something like a spam quota, so when you post something and you have it set to -1 for that forum per post it shows up under your name in a new area called "Spam Posts"

10. Google Talk IM option

11. Option to ad more profile fileds in Admin CP, but these added ones only apper in your profile not in the side of a post ect.

12. Avatars dont streach

13. Option to allow users not to have a sig

14. Option to allow users not to have avatars

15. Option to edit users profile from post not Admin CP only (mods as well)

16. Option to customize what a Mod can do per mod

17. Admin CP problems like upgrading forums fixed (yes I did complan about this alot but the link dosnt apper in this version just passed)

19. Jump Forum, in the topic, post, thread view this appers and it jumps you to diffrent cattargys and forums.

20. Upload Quota, its a hack for phpbb forums, but it will be cool with nextbbs, it shows how mutch a user has uploaded in terms of attachments. Its in the Profile.

21. an option under each topic, next to the Flat Mode | Threaded Mode which changes what is shown in that thread, in terms of the oldest or newest post first and Desplay posts from 1day to 1 year or all.

22. Next to the Monitor Topic in a reply, a "dont show edit tag" option

23. An option to turn of smilies in user cp and admin cp for global use.

24. Timezone identifier tells you under browsing this Area the time zone currently used, for when your loged out the global one and for when you are loged in the one you are using.

25. Thread Starter Icon, most forums have huge friends from time to time, and if you dont read it all, you can view a little icon under the users area, which says "THREAD STARTER" then a little icon, like vb.

26. Multipal polls per thread

27. Permisions per user rank, eg. in the admin cp, I can make diffrent ranks to to be able to do stuff, eg. if you have less then 50 posts you cant change your skin ect.

28. A area in the users online area which shows a list of users online today like vb.

29. Flag list, a list of country flags for when you pick a country, say Australia, in your profile it will say Australia then a pick of the flag, and in your post, under the Warn Level/Rep it shows only the flag

30. Option in Admin CP, that after a topic is closed, if a zip ect. is attached you cant download it

31. Option to allow ranks to have diffrent colours

32. Option to change the logo in the Admin CP by meens of link of url and upload

33. Automaticly pm a welcome to the forum message to users option

34. Have diffrent levels of admins, such as for poeple you dont trust as well as an admin, have them only access to a few options.

Ideas since 15th Feb

34. Profile Picture of yourself, and able to customize the theme of your profile, such as have it a diffrent skin ect.
35. In sig and avatar options, an option to alagin the sig center, left, right, or defult.
36. A setting in the profile, to make all settings back to defult
37. More options by a user point of view with customization
38. A limiet of characters per each post.

Ideas since 18th Feb

39. Announcements - A feature which if applyed gives a small box above all the forums with the latest annossment, such as "DOWNLOAD THE NEWEST VERSION OF NEXTBBS" ect. If there was a welcome message there was well, with the features of the users avatar, space for ads, proivte messanges ect, it would go good in the little box.
40. Topic Options - "ad to favorite topic list", "watch topic","print this page","email topic", "serch topic"
41. Topic Options part 2 - Option to rate topics
42. Option for Previous Topic and Next Topic next to Flat Mode | Threaded Mode options
43. Option to read posts not viewed yet above Skin Selection option
44. Favorite topics - a list which you can easy view topics you have been to before and made a favorite topic
45. Topic creator can have a topic option to auto bump the topic.
46. A small blog for the user with limited space for each user
47. Option to expand and shirink the area you type in for the quick reply and main reply
48. Buddy / Ignore Lists, people on the buddy list can see more of your profile, such as more personal questions in the profile, where as guests can see your im options if allowed, and ignored poeple cant see nothing in your profile, expect for realy basic features
49. In the avatar area you say how big you want your avatar in px's as long as it dosnt streach the requirments made by a admin
50. Options for more folders in Privet message box
51. Track messages for pm box, which tells you if anyone has read it ect.
52. List of all uploaded items in user cp
53. Profile downloads, poeple can download a users profile information, only options users have allowed poeple to download by ticking a box next to the feature in there cp.
54. Skin options in cp - this allows you to change a skin, put a timer on the use of a skin, just in case it dosnt work, or send a pm to a admin about instaling a new skin.
55. Monitored topics listed in there topic such as not straght down the page, but you click the forum the thread is in and then you can edit the options for that thread, as well as a search option for them.
56. A faq, which has information on how to post, features ect.
57. Users to delete own posts
58. Picture which shows if the user is offline or online in posts and theire profile.
59. Depending on your age, you cant enter a certain topic or catorgy.

Ideas since 19th Feb 2006
60. Timed topics - this allows a topic to be open or shown to the public for a certain peroid of time
61. Timed Forums (same as ^)
62. Option to allow users to not be able to see avatars (heh some poeple might not want to see avatars)
63. Options to allow users to disablie sigs (basicly allows them not to see poeples sigs)

Ok so if 7 point is implanted, and you say for one forum 7 point is active you want 7 point to minus a users post count in that or just have it as 0. When you post in a forum with it on, it will show up as a all new list of posts, if the admin has allowed it to, saying "Spam Posts"

Well it's a skin matter, I try not to interfere with skins design, but I see your point.

Ha nice, half of those Ideas you said where good, and are starting to implant where what I wanted the most.

It all depends, if a user wants to view the things like the latest post, or posts done in a peroid he/she was away ect.

Some admins on forums might not want users to use banners for sigs ect. or dont want users to have an option for a sig, just an avatar.

True, but the skins buttons are more based around Circles, and for the content rectanguar boxes.

Some ideas I'm thinking of:

Quick Edit - Pretty much something lazy people like me need. With the ability to remove the edited line depending if they are allowed to or not.

Highlight Table Cells - On the main forum page it'd be nice to see the forums light up when you hover over them, but this is more of a matter of taste lol.

Online/Offline legend - Would be really cool ^_^.

Search box disappears when mouse moves away - I know you added the "x" button but still people like me are too lazy to press it after accidently hovering over it lol.

Monitor Topic Replaced - At the top of the topics there's a yellow box [depending on skin] and in it is monitor topic. It seems kinda empty just being there, so possibly move it up to the top of the topic title and send it to the right of the title?

Ability to hide guests on online list - It's really annoying especially on this forum with so many guests clogging the lists. Especially when it doesn't say what they're doing.

Ability to sort online list by member name - Easier if you get clogged by guests and/or want to look for a certain user.

When editing a post, it says post edited - Currently when you edit a post and hit submit it says Message Posted, instead of saying Message Edited.

Edited Date - Ability to show the edited date and the ability to show the edit line but not the date edited. [currently it doesn't show the date, so maybe it should be there, but certain groups can hide the time they edited their post and keep the edit line.]

Recent posts when editing - When you edit a post it's nice to see the recent post list underneath it like when you're posting, just so you know if someone replies when you're posting or you want to quote more than one person.

Full topic when posting/editing - Dunno about you guys but I've always wanted to see atleast 1 more post for quoting reasons and then have to open the topic in a new window to get it, so maybe show the limited amount but have a text line that you click to show more.

Users Browsing this Topic - Eh, It's always nice to see who's browsing the topic so you're not waiting there for no reason. And as a bonus maybe you can make it so that you can see what they're doing in the topic.
Ex: 1 User is Browsing this Topic: [username]
And when you click on their name is has a mini menu telling what they're doing in the topic; such as reading, posting, editing, reporting, ect.

Search member list by group - Useful if you have a lot of groups.

Eh that's all my cheap suggestions ^_^.

Edit- Oh and I'm sure you guys might have noticed when posting/editing it says $data at the top.

Edit2- I keep editing this lol.

Edit3- omfg, editing too much x_x.

Yeah Quite edit is a good feature, its adaliable on some forum systems just only while ago, and I have used it alot, I realy like the feautre.

I think Chris will agree that is more of a skin problem, but I agree, there should be an option in the admin cp for it and in the user cp for it.
