Well, I'm sorry to disappoint you but that's how I setup the staff area, for commodity reasons.
It's one of the many wonderful features that NBBS offers: you can select which groups can:
1. Be aware of the existence of an area
2. See the content of that area
3. Start a new topic in that area
4. Reply to an existing topic
5. And a few other things

Which is just one of the many many awesome features of Next BBS


With this feature, you can do like they do on the Xbox forums. Have a forum that members can report stuff to the mods, and not have to worry about other users seeing it.
