:bangin I can't think of a good excuse why I didn't try that first :blink - Sorry about that :blushk Running Install brings up the setup page. It asks me for a database name, prefix (bb_), user and password - are there some pre-defined entries to put here? If I try and use the Create Database option, it tells me "Sorry, this script doesn't know how to create a database in this version" I created a MySql database using PhpMyadmin and tried using that, but it then told me "Unable to open database: connect failed" I've been reading through the forum, but I can't seem to find any database setup instructions - though it's highly likely I'm overlooking them :bangin

No, no. At this point, you're pretty much on your own as I am behind on the whole documentation thing. You need to create a database: check. You then need to grant access rights to a db user: I'll bet that one you didn't do. You can either do that using your SQL admin interface, or run this SQL query: GRANT ALL on mydatabase.* TO username@localhost IDENTIFIED BY 'password'; Where: mydatabase = your database name username = the db username you wish to use password= well I'm sure you guessed -Chris.

Hi Chris :) I notice that we have to unpack the doiMenuDOM.js file. Neither Winzip nor 7Zip will unpack it - I've downloaded it 3 times now in case of corruption, but Winzip keeps wanting to add it as an archive, and 7Zip unpacks it to a zip file which still can't be unpaked. PowerArchive does not recognise the file, and Gunzip can't even find the file. What silly thing am I doing wrong now :bangin Sorry for causing you all this bother :bye
