In this tutorial I'll show you how to install a hack, well mine atleast.

When you download any of my hacks you see "install_(name).php, instructions.txt, and (name).php.
You may see more or less of the files listed above.

The first thing I do is update the database, you do this by uploading "install_(name).php" to my forum's root.
To find your forum's root look at the URL. I installed NextBBS on xenweb.net/nbbs/ so my forum root is in the "nbbs" directory.
After uploading the file go to yoursite/forums/index.php?do=install_(name).
So if I wanted to install that on my site I would go to xenweb.net/nbbs/index.php?do=install_(name).

In the "instructions.txt" file you may have to edit php or template files.
I cannot help you here but overtime you'll get better at following what to do.
If you have any files that you haven't uploaded read the instructions and see where they go.
