"Nightly" usually means it was built quickly, so it won't be as stable. However the most recent "stable" version on Sourceforge doesn't really seem that stable :p

Normally, the Sourceforge versions were looked over more times than the Nightly, to make sure nothing is glitchy with the code.
doesn't come here often, cause he has no free time ;_;

Correct. Due to our incremental development model, you are actually often better off using the nightly build, since it fixes problems found in the "stable" one.
Actually, we are using SourceForge as a checkpoint more than anything else.
I think it would be reasonable to maintain a nightly 'readme'...

Update:
Done.

Really I think you should do away with the nightly and do a 4 dig designation like 0.2.4.5 and have a major update the 2nd dig and the 1st dig a major recode and leave the last 2 digs for minor updates like the nightly so it wont be confused it also looks more professional
