Edit the "Pre-Set" Calendar Events

Is there a way to edit / remove the "pre-set" calendar events that come with the board?  I have tried this by downloading the eventt_bb table from my database, but it only shows the events board users have entered, not the ones that already appear monthly by default.

Here

I just commented out the following in the calandar.php file in the main bb directory.  Seemed to work fine

php Code:
  1.   // Holidays
  2.   // require 'helpers/ac/holidays/regholidays.php';
  3.   // $rh = new holiday_class($now['year']);
  4.   // for($jd=gregorian_to_jd($now['mon'], 1, $now['year']); $jd<=gregorian_to_jd($now['mon'], 31, $now['year']); $jd++)
  5.   // {
  6.   // $s = $rh->GetHolidays($jd);
  7.   // if(!empty($s))
  8.   // {
  9.   //  jd_to_gregorian($jd, $mo, $da, $yr);
  10.   //  $cal->setEventContent($yr, $mo, $da, $s, '');
  11.   // }
  12.   //  }

Yes, this would do nicely and with no side effect.
