I installed this hack on my board, and then got e-mails from people trying to register saying they kept getting errors. I tested the registration process myself, and I had the same errors, kept getting text in read saying "Username or Password Incorrect..."

I noticed I had no new members signing up after the time when I installed the hack. I downloaded and edited the index.php & header.tpl files to remove the hack, and voila! The registration works again. Are you aware of this problem?

I've got this version installed: "NextBBS SE v0.5.3"     The login boxes work, it's just that they somehow interfere with new registrations.  You'll keep getting an error.  Didn't have any problems before adding the mod.  When I removed it, the registration worked fine again.

 

Here is what I did to alter the login area and make it more visible...  I downloaded the "global.php" file from

...servers/1/lang/en/global.php

 

I made some modifications on line 37:

"please_login" => "Guest, do not forget to login",

 

I changed it to look like this:

"please_login" => "Bienvenidos! Board Members Login Here --->( Login ) or ",

Otherwise I really like the board software, but I was having difficulties with folks trying to login.  So I was looking for a way to make it easier for everybody.
