Mabye you also could check why we can't edit files: Atleast the one in dir's like: Admin, Servers and those dir's

yeah but phpbb or smf dosnt shrink them then expand them allowing only 2 files to upload!

Well, it's looking like you were right.

However, I am now in the process of testing the final version of the upgrade mechanism I have been working on lately.
It's nice because it will allow, theoritically, upgrading from any version to any version.
