Four months! I realize it's been four months since our latest public release. Thus, here it is: Release 0.4.1 - click on 'Comments' to read a list of what is new. It entails a remodeled Admin CP, more registration options, a skins editor with syntax highligthing, trackbacks, multi groups, integration with various 3-rd party tools and many, many more features.
Note: Effective immediately, when a release's minor number is an odd number, it means that this is a release that requires testings. Releases with an even number are stability releases.
Note: I believe that we now have decided on our packaging policy. Therefore, there are now several packages: one for the core software and many for various add-ons.
I don't see a comments link that shows whats new as your post said. Anyways if I were to upgrade from v3.5 to this, is there any skin structure or modification's that would be screwed over or w/e?
This world is not perfect. That is what makes it beautiful.
You need to run install.php, it will automatically decompress install.data and initiate the setup process.
To do this, you must have these two files uploaded to your site's board directory -whatever you wish this directory to be-
Of course, you need a web server running. If you plan on using Windows and do not have a web server setup yet, I recommend XAMPP, found at this URL: www.apachefriends.org/en/xampp-windows.html
