I was looking for a forum software where the users are authenticated against LDAP.
After some search I came to nextBBS.

Looks very nice!
Thanks to the team!

But..
I had to change some things in the LDAP-Authentication code, because
my user accounts has to be searched in subtrees below  ou=people,dc=organisation...
So, when a user wants to login, he/she first has to be searched to find out the dn.
If someone is interessed in these changes just send me a message.

At the bottom there is also a fix for the problem, that occurs with the LDAP-Login:
The first time a LDAP-User is logging in, the nextbbs-account is created and the
user is thrown out. He/She had to log in again.

I don't know, if you like the extension of the Class Auth to
carry two variables (fullname,email) and I also don't know if it is ok for php5.
